STRAWBERRY CAKES
RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- Whipped cream or frosting for topping (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in chopped strawberries.
- Pour batter into prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
- Top with whipped cream or frosting, if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
